Meet the guardians
Mountain Guardians is a nonprofit animal sanctuary founded by a group of Ogden locals who are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating companion animals, while fostering human-animal connections. In just over a year, we have rescued 34 animals with the help of a small budget and a passionate team of volunteers.
Our vision is a sanctuary that serves as a space for mental wellness, where individuals facing mental health challenges can benefit from therapeutic relationships with animals. We are committed to educating the community on responsible pet ownership and creating a compassionate community for all.

Join us for some good food, brews, and fun for all! Utog is generously hosting us for a Halloween-themed adoption event. We’ll be having a kitty meet and greet, drawing, dog costume contest, crafts, trivia, pet portraits, and more!
